In my day job, I’m a “knowledge worker”. Like many, my day is punctuated by the barrage of, mainly email, interruptions. Often these are incidental to the actual work I’m undertaking and serve only to reassure others that work is ongoing. I try to be respectful and reply. I try to also be respectful and not expect others to interrupt their day to tell me they are working.
The barrage continues.
